From the Isle of Whithorn there are many quiet walks including Burrow Head to St Ninian’s Cave.

The Village has a community shop and the award winning Steam Packet Hotel is just yards away with a further range of services available at the nearby Whithorn, including primary schooling.

Southwest Scotland is noted for its spectacular coastline, offering a plethora of opportunities for the outdoor activities including walking, fishing, shooting, sailing, and cycling. Wigtown Sailing Club is nearby including kayaking. There are many beaches and sandy coves within a short drive of the property, with the area also boasting several golf courses.

The A75 trunk road provides quick access from the south via the M6 & M74. Ferry links to Northern Ireland run from Cairnryan which is a short drive away, Glasgow Airport is 2 hours drive from the property.
